The most costly 3D Bollywood action flick is in the stars?

Bollywood 3DTVWatcher

After hints and hiccups that Bollywood is about to embrace 3D (which never have actually bloomed or blossomed into a country-wide craze) a new report has emerged that a top-notch choreographer who also happens to be a director, Remo D’Souza, has his sights set on making the most costly action film in India’s history. Naturally, in 3D.

According to an interview with D’Souza, the film is not going to be converted to 3D, instead, it will be shot using tridimensionally-enabled equipment. 3DTVwatcher of course welcomes this somewhat James Cameron-esque approach to film-making.

It has been claimed on several occasions that converting footage to 3D makes the effect very weak, some critics labelling it merely 2.5D.

D’Souza is no stranger to 3D and the benefits it can bring, as his latest project, Any Body Can Dance, also can be viewed in all three dimensions.

In a recent interview with PTI, the choreo-slash-director said:

“I have been working on this script for seven years… This film will be India’s most expensive one. It will be shot in 3D.”

3DTVwatcher hopes that Bollywood bosses will produce more 3D flicks, besides, everything’s more fun in three dimensions.
