Suited and booted: 3D printing enters women’s clothing and shoe market

It was only a matter of time before 3D printing would enter women’s clothing and footwear market. Would you like to try on a pair of 3D printed high heels?

3DTVwatcher sure would – these tridimensional designs look somewhat like YSL’s cage-shoes, which we all saw on the catwalk some time ago.

The eye-grabbing design definitely underlines Continuum Fashion’s philosophy to change what consumers perceive as normal shoewear.

The brand plans to do this by creating and printing in 3D curly, curvy Lady Gaga-esque designs which have never been mainstream before. Janet and Judy Jetson would probably be very envious.

While these are not yet available on the mass market, another item from the brand is available for sale through Continuum Fashion’s website. A $250 3D bikini anyone?

The prototypes of the shoes are quite impressive; and 3DTVwatcher would like to underline that they will reportedly cost $900 a pair. Talk about 3D luxury. Have a look at these innovations – would you wear these?

We WANT the last pair!
