One of the most important events for the Prince’s Trust will be coming to you again this winter in 3D. The Prince’s Trust Rock Gala will be broadcast on Sky Arts 1 and Sky 3D.
The concert will feature artists like Boy George, Pete Townsend and The Feeling and will be hosted by Edith Bowman and Patrick Kielty. The Gala will go ahead on 23rd November and will be broadcast in 3D on Christmas day at 9pm.
Last year’s gala was one of the first concerts to be broadcast last year and was one of the most popular music programs on Sky Arts last year, according to John Cassy, director of Sky 3D:
“The Rock Gala is a celebration of the good work of The Prince’s Trust so it is easy to see why it was one of the most popular music programmes on Sky Arts and Sky 3D last year.
“It is an honour to be able to support the work of The Trust again this year using Sky’s innovative 3D technology to broadcast the Rock Gala’s sensational performers to wider audiences.”
The Rock Gala was restarted last year after a 20-year-long hiatus. It brought back together some of the biggest names in British music as artists such as Brian May, Eric Clapton and Phil Collins.
