Lightning fast 3D micro printing is now possible

Some things just do not take time to kick off, do they. 3DTVwatcher is referring to 3D printing of course. According to recent reports researchers found ways how to print out extremely small 3D parts in a matter of seconds.

As you might have guessed, dear reader, this is first and foremost for the sphere of medicine. If actual cells for example stem cells can be printed out that fast then printing out, studying and potentially replacing tissue can also become a reality for regenerative purposes.

For instance victims of strokes, heart attacks among others will be able to have their defected tissue replaced by a freshly 3D printed one.

3DTVwatcher also assumes that this may extend to skin tissue – and, this is just us thinking aloud but, tridimensional printing might be the oh-so searched for by alchemists youth elixir.

The group of nanoengineers at the University of California, led by Professor Shaochen Chen were trying to simulate a certain biofabrication process only on a micro scale.

This would allow the scientists to print out minute details such as tiny blood vessels and cells which play a key role within the human organism in terms of oxygen, blood, nutrient, mineral and water distribution.

3DTVwatcher will keep a keen eye on the development of this story. The success of this 3D project may potentially save millions of lives and it’s great to know that the tridimensional format contributed to this vastly.

That and we’d just like to stay young forever, don’t-you-know.
